The City Hall Annex Reuse and Renovations Study comprised a review of the current space utilization of the School Department and the various City Departments located in the City Hall Annex and development of a Space Needs Assessment. The resultant Study identified efficiencies and inefficiencies of existing space utilization. A detailed Space Utilization Plan was developed detailing the space requirements of the School Department and all City Hall Annex Departments. A space organization plan to match the needs of the School Department with available space in the City Hall Annex was developed. Renovation of an adjacent seven story office building was proposed to provide space for City Departments displaced from the Annex. The ground floor of the office building was reserved for a restaurant and a new entrance atrium was proposed to connect the two buildings.
