HOLYOKE PUBLIC LIBRARY
EXTERIOR RESTORATION AND ACCESSIBILITY
Masonry | Windows | Roofing | Sheet Metal | Accessible Entrance
Seven projects from 1983 to 1990 at the 1902 James Clough designed neo-classical library including replacement of the clay tile and copper roofing and built-in gutters. Exterior brick and limestone were restored and repaired. Rebuilding monumental granite entry stair and brick masonry parapets was done. Replacement of original windows with matching profile, thermally glazed wood windows was another project. An accessibility project included a new accessible entrance.
